BARN PLAN AND FACILITIES

The Barn is set in the beautiful grounds of Haughley Park House, easily accessible from the A14 dual carriage way, and has ample parking facilities for a large number of cars.
The buildings were restored in 1977, to be used as meeting rooms, and are Grade 2 listed.

Bar Supper Room Kitchen

MAIN HALL AND STABLE END

	Room Sizes: Main Hall:14m. x 7m, plus 4m. x 4m. Bar alcove. Stable End: 12m. x 5m.
	17th Century mellow red brick built, with fine original timber beamed roof.
	Stable end timber-framed, probably late 16th century with some earlier re-used timbers.
	Platform 5m. x 2.2m. in removable sections.
	Floor-level warm air heaters.
	Up and down lighting, dimmable.
	3m. x 3m. pull down projection screen. portable screen, projector stand and 2 lecterns.
	Multi-speaker PA system with stand or fist and lapel wire-less microphones. CD Player. Hearing Loop in main barn.
	162 Beech Ply stacking chairs
	Wood framed laminate topped rectangular tables: 18 off 6ft long, 12 off 4ft long. All stack.
	12 round plywood table-tops, 5ft. diameter to seat 8, which fix over the above 4 ft tables. (extra charge)
	Solid Oak 'Marriage Table'
	Dance Floor: oak strip, sprung. Can be laid on request ( extra charge).
	Cart Door opening: 2.2m. high x 3m. wide.

BAR

	2.5m. low and high counter, open under.
	Soundproofed lift-up flap to close off.
	Two double-doored glass fronted bar fridges, rear shelving, some 'show bottles', but no bar equipment.
	Wash-up kitchen behind with plenty of shelving.

SUPPER ROOM

	Size: 11m. x 6m.
	Timber framed, probably 18th Century.
	Floor-level warm air heaters.
	Down lighting.
	Monitor speaker.

KITCHEN

	6 Burner Catering oven.
	1.5m. warming cupboard with 3 radiant top-lights.
	Powerful extraction over both.
	Two tall Larder fridge (in kitchen store-room).
	2 off 8 gallon boiling urns, 3 large kettles.
	Double sink, hand wash basin, 3 prep. tables.
	Cupboards containing 150 place-set basic white crockery and cutlery.
	Outside door, useful for Courtyard BBQs or Hog-roasts.

NB: There are no glasses, cooking pots, serving dishes or linen of any kind. Caterers should also bring their own cleaning and washing up materials.
