Are we allowed to bring in our own caterers? |

Yes. There are no in-house caterers at the Barn. You can
choose your own preferred company or we can recommend
local caterers who have worked here often.

Can we supply our own drinks? |
|
Yes and no! You may supply the drinks for the arrival reception
and you may also supply the drinks for the Wedding breakfast.
We do not charge corkage. Drinks service should be arranged
with the caterer. You may not supply drinks for the evening
party and unopened bottles from the day will be put aside
after the meal. See below.

There is a tied evening bar service that is a requirement of
wedding hire. This can be run as a pay bar, free bar, or limited
tab. Prices are reasonable and the venue takes no commission
on the bar.

What are the timings on the Bar and
how long can the party go on? |

Our license allows alcohol to be served until 12am and Music can
continue until 12.30am. It is also possible to extend both licenses
by one hour if desired, by arrangement with the Barman.

Can we hire the Barn for a wedding on a Friday or Sunday?
|
The Weddings that take place here are almost always on a
Saturday as we only accept one wedding booking per weekend.
A Saturday wedding then includes the Friday as a set up day and
Sunday for collection of items, so we do not hire these separately. |

We feel it is very important to give those involved plenty of time
to prepare for the day and enjoy it without feeling rushed, and
believe that accepting wedding bookings here on consecutive
days would compromise both occasions. |
We do however offer a mid-week Wedding hire, which runs
from Tuesday-Thursday, with the wedding taking place on
a Wednesday. |
